To ensure clarity, transparency, and professionalism, Pitch2Pitch Performance is formalizing how communication will take place moving forward. This structure is designed to support athlete development while maintaining clear, appropriate boundaries and consistent expectations for families.
Parent-Inclusive Communication Standard
Communication with athletes will continue, but it will take place in a parent-inclusive format.
Parents or guardians are included on all non-in-person communication involving minor athletes
Private, one-on-one messaging with minor athletes is not used
This approach supports athlete engagement while ensuring visibility and accountability
Approved Communication Channels
Pitch2Pitch Performance uses the following channels to share information:
Parent-inclusive email communication
Public or shared calendars
Website announcements and bulletin-style updates
Group or copied messages where parents/guardians are included
Direct private messaging channels with minor athletes are not used.

All scheduling information, updates, and changes will be communicated through public or parent-visible platforms, including:

Families are encouraged to use these resources as the primary source of information.
Athlete Questions & Clarification
Athletes are encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification in appropriate settings.
Questions may be asked in person during training
Questions may also be addressed through parent-inclusive communication
Parents or guardians are always welcome to participate or follow up
